The pet odor

Some secrets to keep your house has the "smell of dog or cat"

As we all know, a pet gives company, affection, sweetness ... and much smell.
Anyone who has a pet knows that animal smells in question can sometimes be a big problem. The litter boxes of cats, small animals cages, urine and other "accidents" and a pervasive 'dog smell, "can give your home an unpleasant aroma.

As we know, cleaning, both the house and the animals and their cages or spoon is essential, but not enough by itself. But do not worry: there are some secrets and products that can help combat odors even more "stubborn". Here we present.

Avoiding the "dog smell"

The simple and safe weapon to combat and eliminate odors from pets, is baking soda. The same can be mixed into cat litter, scattered on rugs and carpets which are vacuuming, added to the "beds" of spoons of the same animals, or simply placed in an open container near the area odor.

Another natural and economical way of controlling odors of urine, is to use white vinegar. It should be applied in a manner appropriate to the area that needs cleaning, in dashes or with a damp sponge.

Some "fragrance" may be yet more difficult to remove. There are a variety of veterinary products in order to remove the smell of urine and excrement, both from carpets and furniture, many of which contain enzymes that neutralize the odor sources. Used correctly, (and sometimes more than one application) can be really useful. Another less costly option is to scrub the carpet or furniture with a liquid detergent diluted in water or cleaners for multiple use.

If you opt for the latter option, the ideal would be that you first try in a very small and discreet carpet or furniture in question (let stand a few minutes fluids) to see if the product could cause some kind of discoloration .

Cats, a separate chapter

Cat owners should be especially careful about removing the traces of the smell, because if it remains, the cat will relieve themselves in the same spot. Unfortunately, in some cases it may be necessary to remove some carpet, and even remove the soil that lies beneath!

To prevent this, attack the problem from the beginning, that is prohibiting your cat needs to do there, from the first moment he does it. And the first time you urinate or defecate, apply the products described above, placing a rectangle over the area of litter, or at least covering it with a vinyl or plastic plate. You may need to restrict access to the site cat, until the smell is gone completely.

The smells coming out of the boxes can be minimized by using a top bunk. Buy a good quality, enabling it to easily remove the feces, leaving no traces rate.

When all this not be enough to eliminate the smell of excrement in the home, putting more emphasis should be placed baking soda and white vinegar, or other more elaborate chemical products, which are in any veterinary.

But the best way to remove odors from pets, is implementing a real prevention, ie not letting these "Fragrance" come home, attacking the problem as soon as it happens.

Remember that the longer you stay the source of an odor on a surface, the harder to remove it, and wean the animal to stop doing their needs at that point.
